Jocelyn Grindheim

Jocelyn brings a diverse background in academics, the arts, and music to Gstaad Tutoring. She holds an International Baccalaureate Diploma from the International School of Lausanne and a Bachelor's degree in Archaeology from McGill University in Montréal. During her studies, she spent a year at University College London and participated in archaeological excavations in Italy.

Jocelyn is a qualified educator with a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with experience teaching in early years education at John F. Kennedy International School (JFK). She also holds a Certificate in English Language teaching for Adults (CELTA), allowing her to teach English as a second language to learners of all ages and backgrounds.

Jocelyn is a skilled calligrapher with extensive experience creating bespoke stationery and hand-lettered pieces for weddings, events, and private clients—including commissions from Christian Dior. Later in 2025 she will start leading the Calligraphy Club at Gstaad Tutoring and offers a range of calligraphy services to the wider community.

In parallel, Jocelyn is an artist and founder of Nyleko, her independent art business focused on fine art prints. In addition, she directed and painted a large-scale mural at JFK, further showcasing her skills and leadership in the visual arts.

Musically, Jocelyn is a passionate performer and educator. She holds a Grade 6 violin certificate, Grade 8 piano certificate, and Advanced Music Theory certificate from the Royal Conservatory of Music. Her performance experience includes playing for the 2022 Proms Praise at the Royal Albert Hall and contributing to school musicals and Christmas concerts every year at JFK. During her time there, she also taught violin and piano lessons, and now offers both violin and piano tutoring as part of Gstaad Tutoring.
